Another late update this month.
I can’t believe we are over halfway through the month already with Christmas looming ominously close.
We’ve done a quite a few things over the last month or two, though as is the case, I can’t remember them when I come to do my monthly update.
The ones I can remember are a meal out in Manchester followed by the Manchester FIRE meetup. We also had a family trip out to York on the train using some bargain tickets. Mrs Fu had an all expenses paid trip to London with a journalist friend who was reviewing a £500/night fancy hotel. Me and Mrs Fu continue to have a weekly date night, continuing the theme of relaxing our frugality reins.
This month we also bought a second hand electric vehicle to do the general running around. We do a lot of ferrying the kids to school and all their various activities and probably save around £50/week in fuel costs now.
With respect to my net worth, last months gains in the stock market were reversed this month, with rising house prices since Q2 and debt paydown taking up the slack.
