This month’s lockdown went by pretty quickly, probably because not much changed in our daily lives apart from not being able to go to restaurants and the kids’ football being cancelled.
Fu#2 has this week gone back to work after another 4 week stretch on furlough. It’ll be very busy few weeks for her as everyone rushes to get hair appointments before Christmas. Parties might not be happening but everyone still wants to look good on photos.
Fu#3 and 4 have been at school as normal through the lockdown, after a very fragmented September and October due to covid cases in their bubbles…although #3 has now been sent home to isolate for a fortnight due to five cases in his year group.
November is a busy month with my rental properties, as insurances and gas safety certificates fall due. Also, I had to set up a new tenant in one of my properties, along with all the paperwork that now entails.
December break up is now only a couple of weeks away and we have started to get into the spirit of Christmas by putting up the tree and Christmas lights. We had some snow overnight, too, which made everything look even more festive.
We are looking forward to a good old family meal on Christmas day with our parents, and we will ignore any restrictions that may be put in place to stop that.
